  Went to North Sydney yesterday to pick up tires, tubes, gas, cleaner etc. Staff were great. Friendly service and the mechanic even pulled apart a wheel to answer one of my questions. Great.

  I am new to riding so i went into the North Sydney store to get a rough idea of which bike would be best for me. The Staff at North Sydney had impressive knowledge and was able to help me get on to road bike. Definitely would recommend

  If you are unlucky enough to get some faulty goods, which does happen, returning them will be a nightmare. I bought riding gloves that came unstitched after a week. I took them back for a refund or exchange, I was told that they don’t refund or exchange good, but will get it repaired. The guy told me that he would call me that afternoon with an update, he didn’t. When I called, he told me that he was too busy and would call me tomorrow, he didn’t. I waited a few days to see if he would call me, he didn’t. So I went into the shop to see what had happened, once I explained who I was, I was told “give me your card” in a rude tone, and a refund was processed. I asked why I hadn’t received a call and was told that they had more important things to do than to deal with this, to which I quipped “I see where customer service ranks”. The manager who was listening the whole time then chimed in with a grumpy “just get out”.

  It really shouldn’t have taken a week to get a simple refund for faulty goods.
